The following Songs were performed and recorded in 1969 onto 45rpm vinyl and since converted to digital format:

Take special note of "Proud Mary" and the way it was arranged and recorded because this is one of the earliest known examples of Newgrass or Progressive Bluegrass music.

The Piney Mountain Boys were:

Ralph Lewis (mandolin and vocals)
Don Humphries (guitar and vocals)
Larry Holcombe (guitar)
Bucky Hanks (banjo)
Neal Clark (bass)
Vassar Clements (fiddle)

Arvil Freeman was fiddle payer for the band but unable to make the trip to Nashville for this recording so Vassar Clements played fiddle on these recordings.
